Uttarakhand forest fire threatens Nainital, army called

A forest fire in Uttarakhand has escalated, with flames encroaching upon Nainital's HC Colony, prompting the administration to summon forest department staff and army personnel for containment efforts. Boating in Naini Lake has been banned as a precautionary measure. So far, 26 incidents of forest fire have been reported in the Kumaon region and five in Garhwal.
