Odisha: TB patients in troubled waters as state runs out of medicines

Despite Odisha's goal to eradicate TB by 2025, the patients there are grappling with a severe scarcity of essential medications, compelling many to miss doses. The standard treatment for the disease entails a regimen of four drugs- Isoniazid, Rifampicin, Ethambutol, and Pyrazinamide. Odisha has 50,000 ТВ patients under treatment, and is ranked second in India in terms of TB notification.
