Celebrating Rangali Bihu: Assamese Communities Rejoice in Festive Spirit

As the spring season blooms across Assam, communities are coming together to celebrate the vibrant festival of Rangali Bihu with enthusiasm and joy. Rangali Bihu, also known as Bohag Bihu, marks the Assamese New Year and is a time of merriment, feasting, and cultural festivities.

In villages and towns across Assam, the air is filled with the melodious tunes of traditional Bihu songs as people gather to perform Bihu dance and rituals. The festival, which spans over several days, symbolizes the spirit of renewal and prosperity.
