World Anthropology Post Congress 2023 Outset with International Seminar on Anthropology in Practice at Department Of Anthropology, Manipur University

On the occasion of World Anthropology Day, the Auditorium of Manipur University faced with intellectual fervor as the three- day World Anthropology Post Congress 2023, International Seminar commenced. With a thematic focus on " Anthropology in Practice: Health, Culture, and Security," the event promises a rich deliberations.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed a distinguished gathering of luminaries, including Dr. Sapam Ranjan Singh, Minister of the Department of Information, Publicity, and Relations, and Health and Family Welfare, Government of Manipur; Prof. N. Rajmuhon Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Dhanamanjuri University; Prof. K Saratchandra, President of the Anthropological Society of Manipur; and Prof. Vijoy S. Sahay, Former Emeritus Professor and Head of the Department of Anthropology, Allahabad University. Leading the proceedings was Prof. S. Jibonkumar Singh, Chairman of the Organizing Committee and Head of the Department of Anthropology, Manipur University.
