Uttrakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami offers tributes to IAF pilot killed in trainer aircraft crash

December 16- On Saturday, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid homage to Indian Air Force squadron leader Abhimanyu Rai, who tragically lost his life in a Pilatus trainer aircraft crash earlier this month near Hyderabad.

The Chief Minister visited Rai's residence in Dehradun, extending condolences to the bereaved family.He was accompanied by Sainik Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi. Squadron leader Rai, aged 33, displayed bravery by steering the crashing trainer jet away from populated areas, ultimately crash-landing in an uninhabited stretch of land.
