Drugs Seized at Dilai

On 18. 11.2023 at about 9.22 PM during routine naka checking on NH 36 Dillai in front of Lahorijan one Maruti Suzuki Alto car bearing registration number AS 01 FE 7366 coming from Dimapur side and heading towards Manja side was intercepted and on thorough search of the car, total 20 (twenty) Nos of identical soap boxes containing brown colour powdery substances suspected to be Heroin powder packed in white colour transperant polythene packets concealed inside the front side left and right rear door of the car total weighing 233. 03 grams were recovered and seized. The driver and the occupant namely Md.Safikul Islam- age 32 yrs, S/o-Late Bahar Ali, R/o-Kurihamari, PS - Mokalmuwa, Dist - Nalbari and Md. Hayej Uddin age 27 yrs, S/O Late Mayej Ali ,R/o- Bhatkhoa Diya, PS- Huwalkuchi , Dist- Kamrup (R) respectively have been apprehended. In this regard a case is being registered.
