An impressive piece of jewelry from the Romanov collection and, in fact, is the only authentic royal tiara that exists today in Russia. It was worn by Romanov brides and consists of diamonds of different sizes and cuts. The tiara was created around 1800, by jeweler Jacob David Duvall in St. Petersburg, for the wedding of Empress Elizabeth Alexievna. The middle row of diamonds in the tiara is positioned so that it "trembles", causing the diamonds to sparkle with every movement of the head. The center stone is a rare 13.35-carat pink diamond.
