Sayi Multipurpose Cooperative to Plant Trees on World Environment Day 2026

Bhojpur Sambalpur: On the occasion of World Environment Day, Sayi Multipurpose Cooperative Ltd. has announced a tree plantation drive scheduled for August 15, 2026, in the hilly area of Kuchinda Lingapali village. Ramakant Mahakul, the head of the organization, has stated that with the cooperation of the villagers, two hundred trees will be planted to help protect the local environment.

Ramakant Mahakul emphasized that planting trees on the hillsides of each village can protect those villages from the effects of global warming. He also highlighted the importance of preserving the forests in their own villages and replanting trees to ensure long-term environmental sustainability. The cooperative has been working for over five years on similar environmental initiatives.

The cooperative calls upon everyone to join hands in protecting forests from global warming and to plant trees on the hills of their respective villages to contribute to environmental preservation.
