​Udhampur: A grand and massive wrestling tournament (Dangal) commenced today in the Jaganoo area of Udhampur. On the first day of this two-day mega event, thousands of wrestling enthusiasts and local residents gathered to cheer for the wrestlers.

​Shri Swarna Singh Rathore Ji graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, formally inaugurating the bouts by introducing the wrestlers. Several other prominent personalities and dignitaries of the region also attended the event, including:

The organizing committee announced that this tournament will run for two days, with the final and major title bouts scheduled for tomorrow.
