Five candidates file nominations for four Rajya Sabha seats from Karnataka

BENGALURU: (Jun 8) Five candidates had filed their nominations by Monday, the last day for filing papers, for the election to four Rajya Sabha seats from Karnataka scheduled for June 18.

Members of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly will cast their votes in the election at the Vidhana Soudha.

The election has been necessitated as the terms of BJP MPs Iranna Kadadi and Narayana Koragappa, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, and former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda of the JD(S) are set to end on June 25.
