World Environment Day by District Environmental Awareness Committee

On the occasion of World Environment Day, a seminar has been organized by Bargarh District Environmental Awareness Committee, under the chairmanship of President Tejraj Bhoi at the local Barpali, Gangadhar Club premises. In this meeting, retired Commander Bijaya Prakash Babu of Odisha Police was the chief guest, Chairman of Dadhibaman Degree College, Dr. Saroj Kumar Dash was the chief speaker, environmentalist Purna Chandra Padhan was the honored speaker and ACF Harishankar Nayak was the honored guest. At the beginning, the committee members welcomed the committee members with a photo of poet Gangadhar Meher, welcomed the committee members and introduced the guests. Committee member Mishra Barik. Secretary of the committee Harsha Behera explained the purpose and coordination of the meeting. The speakers expressed their views from various angles towards the environment and its protection. The chief speaker did not consider environmental protection as the responsibility of the government, the state or NGOs alone, but rather as a national responsibility and expressed his opinion that environmental protection can be truly achieved by giving it the form of a mass movement. Chairman Mr Bhoi also expressed his opinion on the various duties of the committee towards the environment. Finally, the member professor formally expressed his vote of thanks. In this meeting, for his outstanding contribution in various fields, Staff Nurse Kunti Sa was awarded the Mother Teresa Memorial, Dr. Rinki Meher was awarded the Dr. Rudra Meher Memorial Award, Dasharathin Meher was awarded the Krutartha Acharya Memorial Award, Sattik Nayak was awarded the Guru Bhagban Sahu Natya Award and Laxindra Seth was awarded the Radhakrishnan Memorial Award. Many wise seers and environment lovers were present in the meeting.
