Haryana: Doctor Shailendra Sharma Arrested for Rape of Minor Girl

Haryana: A 15-year-old girl admitted to LNJP Government Hospital in Kurukshetra for stomach pain was allegedly raped by Dr. Shailendra Sharma Shaili. The police have arrested Dr. Sharma and produced him in court, where he was sent to jail.

The victim reported that the doctor first touched her private parts and then sexually assaulted her multiple times, causing bleeding. Dr. Shailendra was previously jailed in 2017 on similar charges of raping a woman by administering a sedative injection, although he was later acquitted by the court.
