Barpeta Police Seize Drugs Worth ₹2.44 Crore in Truck Operation

Barpeta: Police in Barpeta intercepted a truck carrying a "special delivery" concealed within a secret cavity. Authorities had already booked the vehicle for its return journey, leading to the discovery.



During the operation, drugs worth ₹2.44 crore were seized, including 671 grams of heroin and 22,000 YABA tablets. The seizure highlights ongoing efforts by Barpeta Police to curb drug trafficking in the region.
