Paralakhemundi, 2635 (NPR): The fair to be held in Mahendragiri, Gajapati district, has become controversial. The role of the administration in this is under suspicion. In this context, a meeting was held on Monday by the district administration. It was not clear whether the said meeting was a preparation or a peace meeting. Because on the 14th, the district administration had a meeting with the Vishwasab Sanskriti Suraka Manch and the Tribal Mahasangh regarding the 16th Mahendra Mela. No results came out of the said meeting. The district administration had promised both the organizations that another peace meeting would be held. On Monday, the administration had invited both the organizations to attend the meeting. Both the supporters and opponents of the fair were present in it. When the meeting started, it was seen as a preparation meeting. The two-way street has expressed dissatisfaction over this. They even told the media that they were adamant about the protest that was warned about on the 29th of this month.
