There’s something deeply peaceful about watching pigeons take flight — they don’t ask for permission, they just rise.

This mural is my attempt to capture that same freedom on a quiet wall.
White pigeons carved in relief, wings spread against a backdrop of blue and gold — like moments of stillness caught mid-air, like prayers left to float. The central peacock-pigeon radiates like a sunburst, while the others drift around it, each with its own direction, its own story.

Working on this wall at the institute in Karachi felt like building a small sanctuary in the middle of a busy city. Every brushstroke, every sculpted feather was a reminder that art doesn’t just decorate spaces — it breathes life into them.

Because walls don’t have to be silent. Sometimes, they can whisper hope, peace, and the sound of wings.
