Bidar Police Fines Drunk Drivers to Prevent Accidents

Bidar: Under the direction of Honorable Pradeep Gunti, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Bidar District, a Drink & Drive campaign has been launched to curb drunk driving and prevent road accidents. The initiative aims to reduce loss of innocent lives caused by impaired driving.

PSI Kiran Kumar of Bagdal Police Station registered cases against drunk drivers and submitted charge sheets to the Honorable Principal Senior Civil Judge and CJM Court, Bidar. Consequently, the court imposed a fine of Rs. 13,500 for drunk driving offenses. The Bidar District Police urge the public to avoid drinking and driving, wear helmets, and adhere strictly to road safety rules to protect lives.
