The young MLA of Chabbewal constituency Dr. Ishank Kumar is carrying out series of development works in the constituency. In this context itself, grants worth about Rs 1.30 crore were also released for the development works of Bugra village, which also includes two main roads connecting to Bugra. On the completion of one of these development works, i.e. community centre, Dr. Ishank Kumar, inaugurated it and dedicated it to the villagers.

On this occasion, Dr. Ishank Kumar said that the unanimous election of the Panchayat of Bugra village is an example of unity and brotherhood of the village. Due to this, a special grant of Rs 5 lakh was given to the Panchayat of Bugra for development works under which the works of streets and drains, flooring of the community centre and street lights were done. Apart from this, an amount of Rs 1.93 lakh has also been released for solar street lights and Rs 3 lakh for cremation shed.

The MLA said that work is also going on, on a large scale for the improvement of roads in the area. The work of the 5.10 km long road from Aimma Jattan to Bugra via Suni, Rehla and Mehrowal is going on at a cost of Rs 1.05 crore, while work is being done for the modernization of Bugra-Dhada-Saila road, with a grant of Rs 13.10 lakh.

On this occasion, Sarpanch Amandeep Kaur thanked the MLA and expressed special gratitude on behalf of the villagers that a special grant of 2 lakh was also released to compensate for the damage caused to the village due to the floods in the past, so that the affected areas can be restored.

Dr. Ishank Kumar said that the development of villages is not limited to just infrastructure facilities, but our aim is to make the lives of the people more comfortable and safe. He assured that development works will continue to reach every village of Chabbewal constituency in the same way. Gian Chand Panch, Kamaljit Kaur Panch, Lambardar Kashmir Singh, Rohit Singh, Surjit Singh, Paramjit, Harjinder Kumar, Sandeep Kumar, Avtar Singh and a large number of villagers were present on this occasion.
