District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain said that, according to a notification issued by the Election Commission of India, a special intensive revision of electoral rolls is being carried out in Punjab. Under the exercise, BLOs (Booth Level Officers) will go door-to-door to collect forms from voters between June 25 and July 24, 2026. She said that, following the directions of Punjabs Chief Electoral Officer Anindita Mitra, the special intensive revision in Hoshiarpur will be conducted with full transparency and in accordance with prescribed guidelines.

Claims and objections relating to the electoral rolls can be submitted from July 31 to August 30, 2026. The disposal of received claims and objections will be completed by September 28, 2026. Following the resolution of all claims and objections, the final electoral roll will be published on October 1, 2026.
