Bidar AAP Leaders Demand Rollback of Fuel Price Hike

Bidar: The Bidar district unit of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Karnataka, has expressed strong opposition to the central government's decision to increase petrol and diesel prices by Rs 3 per liter immediately after the elections in five states. The party leaders submitted a petition to the Prime Minister of India through the District Magistrate, condemning the fuel price hike as a significant burden on poor and middle-class citizens already struggling with rising essential commodity prices.

They highlighted that the increase in cooking gas prices has severely disrupted household budgets and affected the hotel industry in both urban and rural areas, causing losses for many small traders. The party leaders, including district president Siddu Phulari, vice president Rajkumar N. Patil Bavagi, general secretary M.D. Javed, and others, demanded immediate government intervention to control fuel and cooking gas prices, reduce taxes on fuel, and provide relief to the common people.
