Nithin's Nadamrutha School of Music Celebrates 12th Annual Day in Mysuru Today
Mysuru, May 16: Nithins Nadamrutha School of Music will celebrate its 12th annual day and the 7th edition of Raju Ganalahari on May 16 at 5.30 pm at the Ganabharathi Veene Sheshanna Bhavana in Kuvempunagar. Announcing the event at a press conference, founder Nithin Rajaram Shastri said renowned sitar player Dr. Mohsin Khan will inaugurate the programme.
District president of the Karnataka Sugama Sangeetha Parishat Nagaraj V. Bhairi will preside over the event. Sugama Sangeetha singer Surekha Hegde and art patron A. P. Chandrashekar will attend as guests. During the programme, the Ananthaswamy Gana Ratna award will be presented to Rashmi Chikkamagaluru, while the Raju Nada Ratna award will be conferred on Purushothama Kiragasuru.
The event will also feature musical performances by students of the institution along with guest singers, presenting compositions by noted musicians Mysore Ananthaswamy and Raju Ananthaswamy, organisers said.
