Robin Hood Army Kolkata Launches Project Swades 2026 to Aid 60 Families
Kolkata: The Robin Hood Army Kolkata, along with its Saltlake, Barasat, and Rishra sub-chapters, has announced the launch of “Project Swades 2026” scheduled for May 24, 2026, at Ghatakpukur. This initiative aims to support nearly 60 underprivileged families through food distribution, medical assistance, and social interaction programs, demonstrating the organisation's ongoing dedication to uplifting rural communities.
Volunteers are collecting essential relief materials including chira, sattu, suji, potatoes, salt, umbrellas, tarpaulins, raincoats for children, and piggy banks. While items like chira, sattu, suji, potatoes, salt, and umbrellas have been fully collected, tarpaulins, children’s raincoats, and piggy banks are still needed. The zero-fund, volunteer-driven project depends entirely on public participation, and organisers have appealed for generous contributions to help bring dignity and hope to the beneficiary families and children.
