Karnataka Banoor Hosts Free Eye Checkup Camp for 298 People

Karnataka Banoor: A free eye checkup and surgery camp was organized at Rotary School in Banoor town by social worker Mahendrasinh Rajpurohit from Marwar, with the assistance of social worker Gavery Devi and Kan Singh Rajpurohit. The camp saw a large turnout of people coming for eye examinations.

Mahendrasinh Rajpurohit stated that such free eye checkup and surgery camps have been conducted on the second Saturday of every month for the past three years. The camp was led by doctors Dr. Niklank Mehta, Dr. Amar S., and Dr. Denny Prasad from Arvind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore, supported by nursing staff. Under the supervision of coordinator Vijaygant B., a total of 298 people were examined. Based on medical advice, 75 patients were identified for eye surgery and were transported to Arvind Eye Hospital by bus.

During the event, social workers Mahendrasinh Rajpurohit, Santosh Kanwar, Rajesh Singh, Virat Singh, Vanya Kanwar, Murti, Lakshmi, Manjula, and Nanjud Swami, among other dignitaries, were present.
