Sixteen Prahari Namajagyna at Talpadar village

The Sixteen Prahari Namajagyna has begun in the Jagannath Temple courtyard in Talpadar village of Bijepur block, Bargarh district. A festive atmosphere has been created in the entire Talpadar area due to this religious event, and hundreds of devotees and devotees have gathered. The entire village is enchanted with devotion with the Harinaam Dhwani, Bhajans and Sankirtan. A magnificent Kalas Yatra was held at 9 am. Hundreds of women of the village took part in the procession, carrying the holy Kalas on their heads and circumambulating the village with the Harinaam Sankirtan. The entire environment was transformed into a spiritual atmosphere with the Haribol Dhwani. Devotees joined this Kalas Yatra. This religious event is being successfully conducted with the efforts and cooperation of the villagers. While the youth are engaged in maintaining order and serving the guests, the women are taking an active role in distributing the prasad and performing the puja. In this Nama Yagya, Gitakrushna Padhan and his wife Hemabati Padhan are the Karta, while the priests Pitabas Mishra and Premananda Mishra are performing the Jagyna along with reciting the Beda mantras. Shibu Mahapatra and Barik Sartik Barik are performing the pujari. Under their good management, all the rituals and religious rituals are being performed as per the scriptures. In the evening, the temple premises are seen to be illuminated in a devotional atmosphere. This sixteen prahari Namajagyna is not only a religious institution, but it is also believed to further strengthen brotherhood, friendship and spiritual awareness among the villagers.
