Surendranagar Mines Department Seizes Illegal Mining Equipment

Chorvira village of Saila taluka: The Surendranagar Mines and Minerals Department conducted a surprise raid targeting illegal mining operations. The operation was carried out based on prior information as part of strict measures to prevent illegal mining activities.

During the raid, officials seized illegally mined Carbocell along with heavy machinery including dumpers and a Hitachi excavator. Other mining equipment was also confiscated from the site, with the total value of seized assets estimated at approximately ₹1.10 crore.
