AMU Notifies Appointment of Hall Provosts as Members of University Court
ALIGARH, May 5: Aligarh Muslim University has declared the induction of five Hall Provosts as members of the University Court for a period of three years or until they continue as Provosts of their respective halls, whichever is earlier.
Prof Naushad Ali P.M. (Viqarul Mulk Hall), Dr Fasih Raghib Gauhar (Sir Shah Sulaiman Hall), Dr Iftekhar Ahmad Ansari (Sir Ziauddin Hall), Prof Mohammad Tariq (Dr B.R. Ambedkar Hall), and Dr Sheeba Jilani (Abdullah Hall) have been inducted as members of the University Court with immediate effect. Their appointments have been made on the basis of seniority and rotation among the Provosts of Halls of Residence.
