Telangana Inter Admission Schedule Released for 2026-27 Session
Telangana: The Intermediate Board has released the admission schedule for the two-year Intermediate General and Vocational courses for the academic year 2026-27. The first phase of admissions will begin on May 8, with the last date for applications being May 31. Classes for the first year will commence from June 1, and the first phase admission process will conclude on June 30. The schedule was announced by Intermediate Board Secretary Abhilash Abhinav.
Admissions will be conducted across government, private aided, private unaided, residential, welfare, minority, KGBV, model school junior colleges, and composite degree colleges as per the schedule. Students are advised to prepare the necessary certificates in advance and complete the admission process within the stipulated timeframe to avoid last-minute issues. The board emphasized that admissions will be provisional based on internet mark memos and will be confirmed only after submission of original SSC certificates and transfer certificates.
The board has mandated that admissions be based solely on GPA and subject-wise grade points without conducting any written exams. Aadhaar number submission is compulsory for all students seeking admission. Additionally, students and parents must submit an anti-drug affidavit as part of the admission process. Reservation quotas include 15% for SC, 10% for ST, 29% for BC, 10% for EWS, and 33.33% for girls in places without special colleges. Private colleges must display authorized seat details daily on the notice board and report foreign student admissions to local police within 24 hours. Admissions must be limited to board-recognized affiliated colleges, and violations of rules may lead to fines or cancellation of affiliation.
