Horrific Road Accident In Madhya Pradesh :12 People Lose Their Lives
Dhar, Madhya Pradesh – April 30, AIMA Media Update News : A horrific road accident has occurred in Madhya Pradesh. A van transporting laborers overturned and subsequently collided with another vehicle. In this accident, 12 people lost their lives, while 20 others sustained severe injuries. According to the details of the incident, 35 laborers were returning home in a pickup van from Baggad in the Dhar district. Around 8:30 PM on Wednesday, near the Chikliya crossing, the driver lost control of the vehicle.
As a result, the van veered out of control and overturned. Immediately thereafter, it collided with an SUV approaching from the opposite direction. Twelve people died in this accident, and another 20 sustained serious injuries. Upon receiving the information, the police and a rescue team rushed to the scene and initiated relief operations. The injured were transported to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention. The bodies of the 12 deceased individuals were shifted to a government hospital for post-mortem examination.
The police have registered a case regarding this incident and have commenced an investigation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences over this tragedy. He announced an ex-gratia payment of ₹2 lakh for the families of the deceased. He also stated that ₹50,000 would be provided to those who sustained injuries. The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) shared this information via a post on the social media platform 'X'.
