** 5 Tippers Among Seized Machinery

In a joint operation, police and the Mining Department team from Garhshankar conducted a surprise raid on the illegally operating Shivalik Stone Crusher in Kunail village over illegal mining activities.
Led by SDO-cum-Mining Officer Harkanwal Singh from the Mining Department Garhshankar, the late-night raid targeted the unauthorised crusher. SDO Harkanwal Singh stated that during the action, authorities seized five tippers, one DG set, and one poclain machine found engaged in illicit mining. He added that this major crackdown aims to curb illegal mining in the area.
The Junior Engineer from the Mining Department Garhshankar informed that a letter has been sent to SHO Garhshankar requesting registration of an FIR in this connection.
