If The Aam Aadmi Party Had Stayed On The Right Path...?! Its MPs Wouldn't Have Left — Anna Hazare
Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra, April 26, AIMA Media Update News : It is a well-known fact that six Rajya Sabha MPs, including the Aam Aadmi Party's Raghav Chadha, have left the party. These MPs, having bid farewell to the AAP, have subsequently joined the BJP. Against this backdrop, social activist Anna Hazare has weighed in on the matter. Anna Hazare stated that had the Aam Aadmi Party stayed on the right path, it is likely that Raghav Chadha and the other MPs would not have left the party. He noted that in a democratic system, everyone possesses certain rights; it appears that these MPs may have encountered some specific issues or grievances, which is why they chose to leave the party. Anna Hazare made these remarks while speaking to reporters in the Ahilyanagar district of Maharashtra.
It is pertinent to recall that Arvind Kejriwal key leader of the Aam Aadmi Party had previously spearheaded an anti-corruption movement alongside Anna Hazare. On Friday, AAP Rajya Sabha MPs Raghav Chadha and Sandeep Pathak held a press conference in Delhi, during which they announced their decision to leave the party. Chadha revealed that one-third of the AAP's Rajya Sabha members were departing from the party. Anna Hazare stated that a leadership crisis has emerged within the Aam Aadmi Party, adding that had the party been on the right path, its members would likely not have left.
