Sanatani Brahmin Samaj celebrates Parsuram Janma Mahotsav
The Sanatani Brahmin Samaj celebrated the birth of Lord Parsuram in the courtyard of the Jagannath Temple in Barpali. On this occasion, a grand city parikrama was first organized from the Jagannath Temple. A large number of respected Brahmins and devotees from the Barpali block and surrounding villages participated in this parikrama. After the parikrama, a meeting was held in the temple premises under the presidency of Pandit Krishnachandra Debta. The speakers in the meeting called for increasing morality, order and unity in the society by following the ideals of Lord Parsuram. The donation of five lakh rupees provided by the Bijepur MLA was also discussed in the meeting and views were exchanged on its proper utilization. Working President Narendra Hota, secretary Arun Panda and Pinaki Mishra and other members were present in this meeting. Finally, Vice President Bibhuti Mishra proposed the vote of thanks.
