Over 1,000 Participate in Run for Unity, Flagged Off by SSP

GNA University, Fit Biker Club, Sachdeva Stacks, and the district administration jointly organised the Run for Unity, which saw participation from more than 1,000 people. At 7 am, SSP Sandeep Kumar Malik flagged off the event from the Sachdeva Stacks head office. The run proceeded via Shimla Pahari Chowk, Sadar Thana Chowk, and Yodha Mall Road before concluding back at the Sachdeva Stacks office.
All 500 pre-registered participants received T-shirts, and many joined with their children. Refreshments were provided at the event's conclusion.
In his address, SSP Sandeep Kumar Malik praised the Fit Biker Club's efforts in organising such events to guide society positively. He noted that the Punjab government's anti-drug campaign is progressing successfully and urged public support. He assured full police cooperation for the club's future initiatives.
Club president Parmjeet Sachdeva emphasised the need for everyone to prioritise health amid fast-paced lives, advocating daily exercise. He thanked all participants, promised more such events, and expressed gratitude to GNA University for their support.
