District Police Poonch Intensifies Anti-Drug Awareness Drive in Schools.

Continuing its sustained efforts to eradicate the drug menace from society and to sensitize the younger generation about its harmful effects, District Police Poonch organized comprehensive Drug Awareness Programmes at Government High School Surhoti and Government High School Chunggan.

The programmes were conducted as part of an ongoing campaign aimed at educating students about the ill effects of drug abuse and the importance of leading a healthy, drug-free life. Police officials interacted with students and staff, highlighting the physical, psychological, and social consequences of substance abuse.

During the sessions, students were encouraged to stay vigilant and informed, resist peer pressure, and actively contribute towards building a drug-free society. The speakers also emphasized the role of youth as ambassadors of change in spreading awareness within their communities.
