Ops against Afghan Taliban going on, would continue until threat of terrorism is eliminated: Pak

ISLAMABAD: (Mar 27) Pakistan said on Thursday that the operation against the Afghan Taliban was going on and it would continue until the objective of eliminating the threat of terrorism was achieved.

Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Andrabi was asked at the weekly press briefing if the Operation Ghazab lil Haq had been stopped.

“Operation Ghazab lil Haq is ongoing. It is a precise, targeted operation, military campaign directed against terrorist leadership and their support and command, infrastructure, logistics, logistic networks and facilitators and abettors of these terrorist acts within the Taliban regime and in the Taliban controlled area,” he said.
