Droupadi Murmu prays at Danghati Temple in Mathura

MATHURA: (Mar 21) President Droupadi Murmu prayed at the Danghati Temple in Govardhan here on Saturday, the third day of her Uttar Pradesh visit, official sources said.

The president participated in the aarti of Giriraj Ji Maharaj and did the Govardhan Parikrama.

Danghati temple receiver Deep Chandra Kaushik said that amid chants of "Giriraj Dharan ki Jai" and other hymns, the president performed a 'mahabhishek' using 11 kg of milk, curd, honey, ghee and powdered sugar.
