Man arrested for raping 6-year-old granddaughter in UP's Bhadohi

BHADOHI (UP): (Mar 20) A 58-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping his six-year-old granddaughter at their home here, police said on Friday.

The man was caught in the act by his family members, but managed to flee when the family took the girl to the hospital, police said.

Station House Officer, Kotwali, Sachchidanand Pandey, said around 5 am on March 17, the girl's family members, who were on the ground floor, heard her screaming and rushed upstairs to find her grandfather forcing himself on her.
