Another Step Towards Language Development of Tribal Students – ICSSR Minor Research Project Granted to a Faculty Member of Palvancha Government Degree Autonomous College!”
The Government Degree Autonomous College, Palvancha, located in Bhadradri Kothagudem district, has achieved another notable academic milestone. Dr. T. Aruna Kumari, who is serving as an Associate Professor in the Hindi Department of the college, has been awarded a prestigious Minor Research Project by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR).
The research topic undertaken by Dr. Aruna Kumari is titled:
“Challenges in Learning Hindi among Tribal Students and Their Solutions: A Multilingual and Socio-Cultural Study.”
This important study aims to analyze the linguistic, social, and cultural barriers faced by tribal students while learning Hindi and to suggest appropriate solutions to overcome these challenges.
Educationists believe that this research will play a crucial role in improving education in tribal areas and in introducing innovative methods in language teaching.
The granting of this project by a prestigious national-level organization like ICSSR has further enhanced the academic reputation of the college.
On this occasion, the college Principal, Professor Polarapu Padma, along with the teaching staff and students, congratulated Dr. Aruna Kumari and expressed hope that this research would serve as a guiding path for the educational development of tribal students. This achievement stands as a significant recognition for the education sector in Bhadradri Kothagudem district.
