𝗦𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 – 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 hyderabad Telangana.

𝗦𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 – 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Under the supervision of Dr. Lavanya NJP, DCP, Women and Children Safety Wing, SHE Teams continued their efforts to ensure the safety and dignity of women and girls in Hyderabad.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 (𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲) -

88 petitions were received through WhatsApp, social media, and direct complaints.

30 petitions were referred to police stations (12 FIRs registered, 18 under inquiry).

141 offenders were caught red-handed (122 majors, 19 minors).

111 offenders were warned and counseled in the presence of their family members.

24 petty cases were registered.

𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 -

22 convictions resulted in a ₹1050 fine each.

2 convictions resulted in 2 days’ imprisonment and a ₹1000 fine.

𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 -

At Himayatnagar, a man harassed a woman waiting at a traffic signal; SHE Teams apprehended him and he was fined ₹1050.

A dispute occurred with an auto driver near the Nampally Exhibition Grounds after he demanded excess fare and abused the complainant; he was apprehended and fined ₹1050.

In another case, a former partner stalked and blackmailed a woman using her photos and videos; SHE Teams apprehended him and he was fined ₹550.

In a separate incident, a man repeatedly harassed and blackmailed a woman to force her into marriage despite rejection; he was apprehended and fined ₹1050.

𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 & 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 -

During the month, SHE Teams conducted 232 awareness programmes in educational institutions and public places, 1002 observation drives in crowded and sensitive areas, and 230 AV vehicle awareness campaigns, reaching thousands of citizens across Hyderabad.

𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 -

Citizens are advised to verify online profiles, avoid sharing excessive personal information on social media, and use strong passwords with two-factor authentication. Victims of stalking, threats, or harassment are encouraged to report incidents immediately rather than remain silent.
