Judicial officer accused in SC-transferred hit-and-run case dies of cardiac arrest
NEW DELHI: (Mar 13) A judicial officer accused in a hit-and-run case whose trial was recently transferred by the Supreme Court from Punjab to Delhi has died in Punjab's Hoshiarpur district.
Pankaj Garg, who was serving as a judicial magistrate first class (JMIC) in the Hoshiarpur district court, died due to a suspected cardiac arrest.
Garg hailed from Kalanwali in Haryana's Sirsa district and was serving in the Punjab judicial services at the time of his death.
