Mrs. Nitya Pathak, Executive Convener of Sulabh International, attended the ‘Bihar Development Summit 2026’ organised by Let’s Inspire Bihar at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi, as a distinguished guest.

The summit witnessed enthusiastic participation from thousands of people from Bihar, reflecting a shared commitment towards the state’s development.

In her address, Mrs. Pathak described the women of Bihar as key drivers of change, highlighting how activities such as makhana cultivation, fisheries, Madhubani painting, and digital training are helping women become self-reliant and contribute to building a new Bihar.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Hon’ble Union Minister for Textiles Shri Giriraj Singh, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Shri Vijay Kumar Sinha, Hon’ble Industries Minister Shri Dilip Kumar Jaiswal, and Let’s Inspire Bihar Founder Shri Vikas Vaibhav, IPS.

Recalling the vision of Sulabh’s founder, Late Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak (Padma Vibhushan awardee), Mrs. Pathak noted that the movement which began with sanitation has grown into a strong foundation for human dignity and women’s empowerment.

During the programme, Mrs. Pathak was honoured with the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel 150 Rashtriya Ekatmata Samman in recognition of her distinguished contribution and exemplary service in promoting national unity and social harmony. She also appreciated the organisation’s efforts in channeling Bihar’s positive energy towards development.

तालकटोरा स्टेडियम, नई दिल्ली में लेट्स इंस्पायर बिहार द्वारा आयोजित ‘बिहार डेवलपमेंट समिट 2026’ में बिहार के हजारों लोगों की उत्साहपूर्ण भागीदारी रही। कार्यक्रम में सुलभ इंटरनेशनल की कार्यकारी संयोजक श्रीमती नित्या पाठक विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहीं।

अपने संबोधन में श्रीमती पाठक में बिहार की महिलाओं को परिवर्तन की धुरी बताते हुए कहा कि मखाना खेती, मछली पालन, मधुबनी पेंटिंग और डिजिटल प्रशिक्षण जैसे क्षेत्रों में महिलाएँ आत्मनिर्भर बनकर नए बिहार का निर्माण कर रही हैं।

मंच पर केंद्रीय वस्त्र मंत्री श्री गिरिराज सिंह, बिहार के उपमुख्यमंत्री श्री विजय कुमार सिन्हा, उद्योग मंत्री श्री दिलीप कुमार जायसवाल, तथा लेट्स इंस्पायर बिहार के संस्थापक श्री विकास वैभव सहित अनेक जनप्रतिनिधि और गणमान्य अतिथि उपस्थित थे।

श्रीमती पाठक ने सुलभ संस्थापक स्वर्गीय डॉ. विंदेश्वर पाठक(पद्म विभूषण सम्मानित) को स्मरण करते हुए कहा कि स्वच्छता से शुरू हुआ उनका आंदोलन आज मानव गरिमा और महिला सशक्तिकरण का आधार बन चुका है।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान लेट्स इंस्पायर बिहार की ओर से श्रीमती पाठक को *सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल 150 राष्ट्रीय एकात्मता सम्मान* से सम्मानित किया गया। उन्होंने संस्था के प्रयासों की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि यह मंच बिहार की सकारात्मक ऊर्जा को एक नई दिशा दे रहा है।

कार्यक्रम का समापन बिहार के विकास पर विचार-विमर्श और सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियों के साथ हुआ।
