A walk through the time : exploring La Martieniere College rich heritage by it's author Adrian Michael

It was honour for the century old Universal bookstore's, Lucknow to host yet another launch of a coffee book , " A walk through the time : exploring La Martieniere College rich heritage by it's author Adrian Michael in the August presence of La Marts Principal Gary Everett.
Kicking off the launch of the book, the owner of the Universal bookstore's Mr Prakash , himself a illustrious student of La Martieniere College recollected his own sweet memories of the College. It's was then the Principal Gary Everett then narrated his own experiences after joining the school in February last year. It was his narration of the visit of Filmstar Sharmila Tagore visit to the campus which took the gathering to big laughter. He narrated how in his attire of shorts , t shirt and school cap he went to meet her. And later on took photos with the legendary actress. Gary Everett narrated that Shashi Kapoor Shakespeare wala was shot on the campus. It was Jennifer Kendall first film with Shashi Kapoor.
Gary Everett also told the audience that he had to stay for 8 months in the college guest house before shifting to Constantia building.

Mr Adrian Michael mentioned that it is first well documented book on La Martieniere with full facts, photos and building renovation work mentioned.

The audience which included many X students and teachers thoroughly enjoyed the evening, enjoyed the hospitality of Gaurav Prakash
