Two Youth Killed After Tree Trunks Fall During Timber Unloading in Sopore kashmir

KASHMIR: Two youths lost their lives after heavy tree trunks accidentally fell on them while unloading timber in the Sunderbani area of Sopore on Thursday.
According to reports, the incident occurred when workers were unloading large wooden logs from a vehicle. During the process, two heavy trunks slipped and fell, trapping the youths underneath.
Both victims sustained critical injuries and were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. However, doctors declared one youth dead on arrival, while the other succumbed to injuries during treatment.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated necessary legal proceedings. Further investigation is underway.
The tragic accident has sparked grief in the local community, with residents expressing concern over safety measures during timber handling and transportation.
