Centre Promises Rozgar Guarantee for Jammu & Kashmir Youth

New Delhi: The Central Government has assured that it is committed to providing employment opportunities to the youth of Jammu & Kashmir, Union Minister stated during a discussion in Parliament.
Replying to concerns raised over unemployment in the Union Territory, the minister clarified that the government is actively working to create job avenues through various recruitment drives and development initiatives.
She informed the House that several recruitment processes are underway and emphasized that empowering youth remains a top priority. According to official figures, thousands of vacancies have been filled in recent years, while further appointments are in progress.
The minister also highlighted that special focus is being given to skill development, entrepreneurship promotion, and strengthening infrastructure to boost employment generation in the region.
The government reiterated its commitment to ensuring transparency in recruitment and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for the youth of Jammu & Kashmir.
