Safer Internet Day-2026: Awareness Workshop organised at Anantnag

ANANTNAG, FEBRUARY 10: As part of the observance of Safer Internet Day-2026, District Administration Anantnag organised an awareness workshop on the theme "Stay Alert in the Age of AI: Safe and Responsible Use of AI" today at Khanabal.

The workshop was held under the supervision of District Informatics Officer, Umair Ahmad Beig and was attended by the officers and officials of various departments. It focuses on enhancing digital awareness among government officials and promoting safe internet practices at all levels.
On the occasion, resource persons delivered key lectures about the safe, responsible, and judicious use of the internet and digital technologies, particularly in the modern age of Artificial Intelligence.
Emphasis was laid on responsible online conduct, data protection and prevention of online frauds besides adopting best practices for secure internet usage in both official and personal capacities.
DySP HQ, Syed Mujahid, shared valuable insights regarding common cyber scams and frauds and advised participants to remain cautious while using digital platforms, online banking, and social media.
At the conclusion, an interactive session was held, wherein participants raised queries and shared their experiences related to cyber safety.
