CRPF Personnel Dies Under Unexplained Circumstances in Kathua; Probe Launched

Kathua, February 10:A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel died under unexplained circumstances in the Hiranagar area of Kathua district on Tuesday, prompting authorities to initiate an investigation into the matter.
Officials said the deceased has been identified as Prabhu Nath (26). He was initially shifted to a local government hospital after his health condition deteriorated. Due to the seriousness of his condition, he was later referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Kathua, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police officials said that all legal formalities have been completed and a detailed investigation has been launched to ascertain the exact cause and circumstances surrounding the death.
Medical records and procedural aspects are being examined as part of the inquiry, officials added.
