In an important administrative development, Inspector Shakeel Ahmed has been transferred from his post as In-Charge Anti-Drug Unit (IC/ADU) and posted as the Station House Officer (SHO) Malhar, as part of a routine reshuffle within the police department aimed at strengthening grassroots-level policing and improving law and order.
According to official sources, the transfer has been effected in the interest of public service and better administrative functioning. Inspector Shakeel Ahmed is known for his professional conduct and has played a significant role during his tenure with the Anti-Drug Unit, where he actively worked against drug trafficking and substance abuse, contributing to several awareness drives and enforcement actions.
With his new posting as SHO Malhar, expectations are high among local residents for improved policing, prompt redressal of public grievances, and enhanced focus on crime prevention.
