*Koraput shivers in cold, temperature below 3 degrees*

Damanjodi: Koraput district is currently gripped by cold. The bitter cold is accompanied by fog and snowfall at places. The entire Koraput district is shivering in severe cold. Most parts of the district have been experiencing below 5 degrees for more than ten days, while the minimum temperature was recorded in Damanjodi this morning at 2.9 degrees. Normal life is being disrupted due to the cold wave from 5 pm to 9 am. People are forced to stay indoors after evening if they do not have essential work. Some are enjoying the cold by drinking tea in the morning, while others are trying to escape the cold by lighting a fire. And some are discussing the cold this year after work. However, it has been reported that such cold will continue for a few more days.
