22-year-old Spanish tourist dies while bathing an elephant on Thailand trip

A 22-year-old Spanish woman, who travelled to Thailand with her boyfriend, was killed by an elephant at an Elephant Care Centre.

The incident occurred while the woman was bathing with the elephant and assisting in washing it. She was injured after the elephant attacked her and she later succumbed to her injuries. Her boyfriend was reportedly present during the incident.
