I-T dept, RBI among 14 agencies that owe Mumbai Police over ₹7.1 crore: RTI

At least 14 agencies, including the Income Tax Department and the RBI, owe the Mumbai Police ₹7,10,67,252 for the security services provided to them over a seven-year period, according to an RTI. While the Income Tax Department is the biggest defaulter with over ₹4.85 crore dues, Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority owes Mumbai Police over ₹1.11 crore, the RTI revealed.
