An intensive cleaning drive at New Farakka station premises.


Under the Mission "SUDHAAR" (Service Up-gradation, Decongestion & Holistic Action for Amenities Restoration) led by Divitional Railway Manager,Malda Shri Vikas Chaubey, which is S.I.G (Service Improvement Group) group specially for overall improvement in cleanliness. This is being monitored, which mainly looks after littering on station premises, ticketless travel, organized traffic flow and parking, station maintenance and improving service quality.

On Sunday an intensive cleaning operation was conducted in New Farakka railway station premises with the help of S.I.G team and railway officials from other departments. Voluntary organizations also joined the drive and cleaned the station premises, platforms and approach lines.

Also, the general public and rail passengers are made aware of the importance of safety measures, including refraining from crossing railway tracks and littering on railway lines.
