Lungi politics is in full play in Odisha, which is holding elections for its Assembly along with the Lok Sabha polls. It all started with the BJD's campaign video of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in a lungi and Jodi Sanka which isn't commonly worn in public in Odisha. The BJP and the BJD are clutching on to the lungi in their own ways
